Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee regarding his past ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier, Axios reported on Tuesday.

Lutnick said he looks forward to appearing before the committee, adding that he has done nothing wrong and wants to set the record straight, Axios reported.

The interview will be held behind closed doors in the coming weeks, Axios reported.

Lutnick is not accused of any wrongdoing.
