Ari Emanuel and Mark Shapiro are acquiring minority stakes in the Las Vegas Raiders, a representative for the executives confirmed to *Variety*.
The deal, which is expected to close by the end of this month, will make Emanuel and Shapiro individual minority owners of the NFL franchise. Mark Davis will retain a controlling interest in the Raiders.
Alongside Emanuel and Shapiro, stakes in the team are also being acquired by Dell Technologies founder Michael Dell and Joseph Baratta, Blackstone’s Global Head of Private Equity.
Egon Durban, CEO of the private equity firm Silver Lake, and real estate developer Michael Meldman are increasing their existing stakes in the Raiders. Silver Lake controls both TKO Group and WME.
The transactions value the Raiders at approximately $9.9 billion.
