Bitget Wallet launches Assetback with cashback in Bitcoin and gold

Bitget Wallet is launching Assetback,

a new asset cashback program that will allow Bitget Wallet Card users to earn rewards in Bitcoin, gold, or tokenized US stocks and ETFs instead of fiat currency or airline miles, Investing.com has learned.

The program, which will be available globally on August 1st, allows users to choose to receive rewards in Bitcoin, gold (XAUT), or tokenized stocks, including Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL), and the S&P 500, delivered through xStocks, a tokenized stock framework from Payward.

Stablecoins are also expected to be available as an alternative. The company will allow eligible users to earn up to 3% asset cashback, with rewards automatically converted to the user's chosen asset after pre-selection.

The Bitget Wallet Card is expected to be available in over 50 markets and accepted globally through the Visa and Mastercard networks. The self-custody wallet currently serves over 100 million users worldwide.

Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, told Investing.com that the program reflects a broader shift in how tokenized real-world assets are entering everyday consumer finance. "Tokenized real-world assets are beginning to move beyond institutional markets and trading platforms into everyday consumer finance," Kan said. "Card rewards are an early example of how payments, savings, and investing can converge into a single experience, turning routine expenses into small, regular allocations to stocks, gold, or Bitcoin."

He added that this kind of automation could expand consumers' ability to accumulate both traditional and digital assets over time, especially in markets where access to global investments remains expensive or difficult.

The launch comes amid accelerating spending on crypto cards in the sector: monthly volume reached $656 million in May 2026, more than double the $271 million recorded the previous year. Spending on the Bitget Wallet Card nearly tripled in the first half of 2026.
