The White House is considering a potential rebate for Americans from tariff revenues, though no final decision has been made, according to White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt.

When asked about a possible $2,000 rebate, Leavitt told reporters on Monday that President Donald Trump has discussed the idea with his advisers.

"I think it’s an idea that the president has discussed and floated with his advisers, but no decision has been firmly made at this point in time," Leavitt said during a White House press briefing.
