Bitwise has filed 11 cryptocurrency ETF applications with the SEC.

In the final days of 2025, Bitwise accelerated its efforts to bring more digital assets to regulated markets

filing applications for 11 new cryptocurrency ETFs with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

According to the filings, each product is designed as a "strategic ETF" rather than a typical spot instrument, and is based on a set of rules governing access to the underlying asset. Regarding the investment strategy, these ETFs intend to allocate approximately 60% of their assets directly to cryptocurrency. The remaining 40% will be invested in exchange-traded products (ETPs) that track the same asset, with the potential additional risk associated with derivatives.

According to the SEC filing, the fund may invest in derivative contracts that use the applicable token or the applicable ETP token as the underlying asset, such as futures contracts and swap agreements. Under typical market conditions, each fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets plus borrowings in tokens, ETPs, and derivatives.

Bitwise already offers a wide range of products in the US. Spot products include the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF, Bitwise Ethereum ETF, Bitwise Solana Staking ETF, and Bitwise XRP ETF, which directly hold the corresponding assets.
