The planned free trade agreement between India and the European Union could come into effect four to five months after it is signed,
Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said on Thursday.
The agreement is expected to be signed by the end of the year, Goyal stated during a visit to Germany. The document is intended to accelerate market access and the flow of investments between India and the 27-member EU bloc.
