Alma Media raises 2025 profit guidance on favorable business trends

Alma Media Oyj announced on Tuesday it has raised its profit guidance for 2025.

Alma Media Oyj (HE:ALMAC) announced on Tuesday it has raised its profit guidance for 2025, now expecting both revenue and adjusted operating profit to either remain at 2024 levels or grow, compared to its previous forecast of flat performance.

The Finnish media company cited favorable business development despite uncertain market conditions as the primary reason for the improved outlook. The company’s 2024 revenue was €312.7 million with adjusted operating profit of €76.9 million, providing the baseline for the new guidance.

Recent acquisitions have bolstered the company’s positive trajectory, including Edilex Oy, incorporated into Alma’s financial results since February 1, 2025, and Effortia Oy, included since September 1, 2025.

"The diversification of Alma Media’s business operations—both geographically across multiple markets and across different business segments—combined with disciplined cost control, helps stabilize the company’s outlook even in challenging market conditions," the company stated in its release.

Alma Media noted that while Finland’s period of slow growth is expected to continue with an uncertain advertising market, the company’s geographic diversification across 11 European countries and its multi-segment business model provide stability. The company operates in digital media, services, and marketplace businesses with approximately 1,700 professionals.

CFO Taru Lehtinen said, "Our business operations have continued to develop favorably despite the uncertain operating environment."
